Imagine your child or teen gaining the skills to tackle homework with greater confidence and efficiency – right in their own study space! Our Zoom-based program leverages this familiar environment to provide highly effective executive function training. By planning and completing assignments where they typically work, students learn strategies that seamlessly translate to independent success.
How It Works
Upon entering the virtual center, your child or teen will be greeted by our experienced executive function coach. They will help them:
Personalized Support in a Small Group Setting
We maintain a low staff-to-student ratio (approximately 3-5 students per staff member) to ensure individualized attention. Your child or teen can log on anytime during the two-hour block and stay for the entire session, receiving support tailored to their needs.
Review and Prioritize
Identify the evening’s assignments and other important tasks like reviewing notes or organizing study materials.
Plan Effectively
Students with existing planning systems are welcome to continue using them (as long as there’s a written record). If needed, Shawna will guide them in developing and implementing a personalized planning strategy.
Focused Work Time
Students will work on their assignments in private virtual breakout rooms (or a small group room if preferred), minimizing distractions.
Expert Guidance
If they encounter challenges, Shawna is readily available to help them problem-solve and work through difficulties.
Progress Review
Before the end of the session, time permitting, The coach will review the progress made and help your child or teen create a plan for any remaining tasks.
Investment
The cost for each supportive and skill-building session is $120.

* We will follow up by sending you paperwork through a portal to complete. Once the completed, you will be emailed a reservation form that you can use to reserve a homework center slot for a given week. The Zoom link for each homework center session will be emailed on the morning of the homework center session.
