About Dr. Carey Heller

About Carey A. Heller, Psy.D.

Dr. Carey Heller is a licensed psychologist and founding partner of Heller Psychology Group. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), executive function issues, learning disabilities, and related items including anxiety.

For treating ADHD/executive function issues, Dr. Heller often blends traditional talk therapy with practical ADHD/executive function coaching. This provides clients with concrete tools to help them make improvements with time management and organizational skills. For children and teens, he often focuses on direct school items, such as keeping track of assignments, managing stress/feeling overwhelmed, and relevant study skills. With adults, Dr. Heller frequently helps them to be more efficient with work tasks, plan/organize better, and balance work and personal life obligations.

Furthermore, as a psychologist, he is able to help people process their feelings, increase motivation & self-esteem, and address other relevant issues. Paired with practical strategies, this can lead to significant improvements in task completion in addition to greater satisfaction and peace in life. Finally, Dr Heller provides psychotherapy, ADHD/executive function coaching (within the context of individual treatment), and formal assessment services. He also runs an executive functioning boot camp
